Plain terms for taking jobs through Flathead Trades. Effective October 22, 2026.

  1. 01What a job isA request from a homeowner, property manager or business for work in one of the directory’s trades, with a name, a working phone number and a description of the work, from someone who agreed to be contacted about it by one pro.
  2. 02One pro per jobEach job goes to one pro and is never sold or sent to a second pro. Once we have confirmed your directory listing is yours, a homeowner who asks for you by name from it comes to you while your balance covers the job.
  3. 03PriceA job costs the price posted for its trade on the pros page when the job is sent. A change to a price applies only to jobs sent after the change. Credit already on your balance keeps its dollar value.
  4. 04PayingPacks are paid in full, up front, by card through Stripe. The pack’s credit goes on your balance in dollars, and each job takes its trade’s price from that balance. Jobs come to you while your balance covers at least one job in the trade. There is no contract and no monthly fee.
  5. 05TerritoriesA territory is one trade in one town, owned by one pro for the monthly price posted on the pros page, billed monthly by card through Stripe and paid before each month starts. While your account is on and the subscription is paid, every job in that trade and town goes to you, with nothing taken from your balance, except a job a homeowner sends to another business by name. Your business name shows on that trade and town page. If a payment fails, jobs there pause until it goes through. Cancel any time from your page; the territory stays yours to the end of the month you paid for.
  6. 06Credit backAsk for a job back from your page within 7 days of getting it when the phone number or email does not work, the job is outside your towns, it is not your kind of work, you already had the customer, or the request is not real. A person reads every request and answers within two business days. When we approve it, the job’s full price goes back on your balance.
  7. 07Credit never expiresCredit stays on your balance until a job uses it. If you close your account, unused credit you paid for is refunded to your card on request.
  8. 08Pausing and closingPause new jobs any time from your page and turn them back on the same way. To close your account, reply to any email from us.
  9. 09Your partCall every homeowner whose job you get, promptly. Be truthful about your Montana registration, licenses and insurance when asked. Do not resell or share a job, and contact a homeowner only about their job. We pause accounts that do not call homeowners back or draw complaints, and refund their unused credit.
  10. 10Your listingYour listing in the directory is free and stays free. Taking jobs does not change where or how it appears.
